    A loner, a sad walk
    Heavy rain and weeping willows
    Who is not crying?

    Karma CW (Thimphu)

    Looking out of my window
    Kids playing in the street
    Reminded me of my childhood

    Sherab Jamtsho (Thimphu)

    Homage to my Guru
    I pray at your feet
    My guru doesn’t even know

    Sherab Jamtsho (Thimphu)

    In between my mom’s scoldings
    My dad nearly pours tea
    In my curry cup!

    Sonam Palden (Thimphu)

Sharing the last few meals with my family
    Amidst laughter and clinking plates
Their voices fade in an echo

    Sonam Palden (Thimphu)

    An egg is hatched,
    Then it gets altered into
    A thing of beauty.

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    He went outside,
Saw old, sick, death and a saint -
    Buddha’s mind stirred!

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    I regret everything
    I regret nothing
    What’s the difference anyway

    Chimi Seldon (Thimphu)

    Walking back
    The mist had settled
    Street lights

    Namgay Wangchuk (Thimphu)

    I am looking
Here, there, up, down, everywhere -
    Stay calm and be still

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    What’s it called
    One being eating another??
    Ah, a carnivore!!

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    You spoil me love,
    With your warmth and kisses
    I’ll love you – always

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    Lotus and leaf

You’ve made me what ‘m now,
    My dear mother,
Words cannot do when thanking you

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    The motor blade sound,
    Slicing of the helpless grass,
    Oh! What a pity!!

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    At the store
    Soppy hands straighten out
    Wet change

    Sonam Palden (Thimphu)

Rain falling on a tin roof
    Somewhere in the dark
    A dog moans

    Sonam Palden (Thimphu)

    A prayer wheel’s
    Bell tolled,
    OM MANI PADME HUNG!!

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    My other half asks,
What’s your choice of a good book?
I say, as you like it!!

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    Another sad death,
May Triple Gem bless their souls!
    Alas, facts of life

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    Lotus

    I was invited to come,
I made it and saw you,
    Cupid struck me.

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    Loads of e-mails,
    Spam, junk, spams and junks,
    Waste of time!!

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

    I am listening,
    Sounds of the river,
    I’m filled with nostalgia.

    Kinley Tshering (Thimphu)

Cars zooming by the roadway, Sunflower
    Screech of brake sounds,
Two cows on the zebra-crossing walking by!!

    The door opens
    Candle lit table with cake
    New faces…

    My mirror laughs at me,KTM
    I frown at my mirror,
    My mirror frowns at me,
    But the truth is,
    my mirror never cared.
