    walking to my brother’s

    without any expectation

    peach blossoms

    namgay wangchuk (thimphu)

    a calmness in the dark

    buildings

    uncharacteristic

    namgay wangchuk (thimphu)

    early morning walk

    peach blossoms

    smile at me

    tshering dorji (thimphu)

    the sun sets, soothing hurts

    turning a stormy day

    into peaceful night

    brenda pancho (manilla, philippines)

    i dream, of a boulangerie

    breezy spring shadows

    over my porch

    sonam palden (thimphu)

    long night

    a sparrow arrives

with the message of the dawm

    tshering dorji (thimphu)

    in the woods i hear

    blissful sounds of flowing stream

    and sweet whisperings

    brenda pancho  (manilla, philippines)

    rampaging waters fall

    over the edge,

i see rainbows in your eyes

    brenda pancho  (manilla, philippines)

    moonbeams gently touch

    the waters, still as night

    your lips quiver in mine

    brenda pancho  (manilla, philippines)

    on the pavement she sits

    beneath the cloudless sky,

    flow torrential tears

    brenda pancho  (manilla, philippines)

    a flying kiss

    and her song

    both lost in the wind

    tshering dorji (thimphu)

    full moon light

    plum blossoms white

    intricate existence

    dorji penjor (thimphu)

    a windy welcome to Thimphu!

    a traveler with luggage

    blinks away dust

    sonam palden (thimphu)

the man walking with his dog

    almost a silhouette

    at road’s end

    sonam palden (thimphu)

    resting atop the hill

    wind in the pines

    the city lights up

    sonam palden (thimphu)

    a row of willows

    in the breeze

     all fully green

    sonam palden (thimphu)

     her gaze unchanging

    the woman by the veranda

    is somewhere far away

    sonam palden (thimphu)

soft rock falls into a pond

    with the ripples

    her fading smile

    tshering dorji (thimphu)

    candle flickers

    dancing shadows

    against the wall

    tshering dorji (thimphu)

     normal proceedings

    or so

    our stray watches the road

    namgay wangchuk(thimphu)

    a few fallen leaves

    and forgotten remains

of glowing gold paint on the pavement

    sonam palden (thimphu)

    the deep auburn

of an old rusty tin fence

    a canvas for afternoon shadows

    sonam palden (thimphu)

    the scarring of trees

    in the void of night

where does this wild wind come from?
