Title: Chai House

Location: India

This photo was taken in a tea house somewhere near Hashimara, India. It was an old mud house with a huge mud stove, and the walls surrounding blackened by smoke. It was quite the time of the day when the lights hang low. There was an earthy feel about the place and perhaps it was also all that mix of soot, mud and the mysterious light playing together that added quite a charm to the place. This man in the photo was sitting alone near the window caught in the dusty slanting rays of the sun.
